First wedding of the season
Donna and Alex had a glorious wedding day, kicking off our wedding season in style. With such terrible weather on the lead up to their big day, we were all pretty anxious but the Ardington micro-climate did us proud providing actual warm sunshine!
Such amazing floral displays by Fabulous Flowers. Rustic and contemporary centerpieces, large and small giving a woodland feel to the marquee. Lee Dann Photography was on hand to capture Donna and Alex during the golden hour as beautifully pictured above. Such a pretty and unique cake too with sugar succulents, sadly we didn’t get the name of the designer.
Donna looked stunning in her off the shoulder dress and Alex’s suit wasn’t too shabby either. The bridesmaids were gorgeous in claret and all in all it was a perfect day;
“We had the privilege of getting married at Ardington House and having the venue from Friday night to Sunday morning. It was great having the whole place to ourselves with the help of the amazing Ardington staff. We cannot fault Charlie, Dragos, and Lidia for all their help (plus Rachel from Barton House). They let us completely personalise our big day, whilst looking after the logistics down to every last detail. Even small things from being greeted with a smile when we arrived by Dragos and Charlie, to Lidia helpfully taking the marriage certificate up to our room as soon as the ceremony had finished (we would definitely have lost it!). Everyone was so attentive and the venue is absolutely stunning, with all of our guests having nothing but praise for how well everything went and how beautiful the surroundings are. Thank you to everyone at Ardington House for making our wedding so incredible!”
Such lovely words, especially when couples mention our team, makes us very proud. Looking forward to a very full and exciting season.
